Beverley’s current practice uncovers the emotionally charged, saturated colour ways hidden within landscapes across the British Isles. She is drawn to locations of historic significance and those where the geography has been largely unchanged, aiming to capture the freedom and timelessness of a place in a fleeting, contemporary impression. Beverley begins each work outside, and later returns to it to complete the piece from memory, lending an ethereal air to the final work.
