Beverley has been drawing and printmaking for twelve years.
After having received a first class degree in fine art from Canterbury Christ Church University, she completed her MA in Fine Art Printmaking. She then decided to undertake a PGCE, followed by running workshops in secondary schools and institutions of higher education.
Before following her lifelong passion for art, Beverley was a chef and restauranteur. She is married with a daughter.
Beverley particularly loves the magic of deep etching, employing many varied techniques and using vibrant colours. Her techniques within the world of etching are unorthodox; using a variety of methods on each plate such as etching, aquatint, drypoint, spitbite, electric tools and any experimental method that achieves the desired result.
Her work is figurative but leaves room for viewers to use their own imagination. The prints are not usually editioned because each pressing is unique.
